The outdoor environment can be unforgiving. It carries its own set of dangers that need a special type of first aid course.
Preparation is key. Therefore having the right training is essential. Our training helps leaders become more skillful, confident and competent with environmental specific training. This allows the best quality preparation for the outdoors. Our Outdoor First aid courses focus on this.
Summit Training runs Outdoor First Aid in Hertfordshire, regulated by ITCFirst, for a wide range of groups from Mountain instructors to Forest Schools teachers. All of our first aid qualifications are nationally recognised and valid for 3 years.
Our Outdoor First Aid in Hertfordshire are taught at the wonderful YHA Lee Valley located in Cheshunt. The Hostel backs onto the beautiful Lee Valley Park. Affordable accommodation can be booked on course days via their website.
For those also working in a regular workplace such as a school, centre or site we can also offer an additional ITC Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work certificate along side this qualification.
