First Aid for sporting environments

Why Sports first aid?

As sports have increased in popularity with the rise in profile of healthy lifestyles so too has the numbers of sports injuries. It in not uncommon at weekends for medical establishments to be crammed full of casualties dressed in their muddy sports kit all waiting for assessment for a multitude of injuries hence the importance of specific sports first aid training.

Along with this increase in budding and willing new players there is a need for expertise and competence in dealing with injuries sustained while minimising pain and furthering the injury.

We offer two specialist first aid qualifications for sporting environments however these may not wholly fit any one individual club or sporting genre. We are able to tailor our course content and delivery to focus on one sporting area.

We are currently working on the development of a specific First aid in Cycle sport qualification. If you are interested in the possible delivery of this course, please get in touch.
